Business Case: Foreign Exchange Application Dashboard
Client came to us with need to track ForEx transactions application performances. Challenge was transaction throughput which is very high and it was not acceptable adding delays or decreasing it.
We started by doing WebEx demonstration where we have demonstrated our platform and have listened our clients need. We agreed to start with proof-of-concept project where we will demonstrate that we can capture their transactions without adding significant delays and what performances we can provide. For this initial project we are just simply counting number s of transactions and showing it on line chart.
Idea was to set our application to be SOAP proxy for their ForEx application. We have successfully finalized this project in as little as two weeks. At this point we have also developed production deployment plan, support plan and calculated complete expenses to client including necessary number of server licenses. Their where satisfied with performances and concept so we have proceed with full production deployment and customization of dashboard display. This project gets finished in next 60 days and it is successfully used daily in the clients company allowing detailed overview of their business metrics in the real time.
